A lot has changed for us in the past year, as a business, as a family, and as human beings. It all started in one instant on Jan. 25, 2018, when we were told by an emergency room doctor that Kevin had a large mass in his brain – a brain tumor.
Hearing that someone you love has a brain tumor is more terrifying than it even sounds. The mere thought of it is unfathomable unless you actually have the unfortunate circumstance of going through it. And even now, a year later, it’s still hard for me to comprehend.
